The training program is developed and overseen by Club Deportivo Social y Cultural Cruz Azul, Mexico.Cruz Azul MN is the first and only franchise of a professional soccer team in Minnesota. Cruz Azul Mexico is a big part of life in Mexico, South America and now wants to reach out across the border to the Latino Communities in North America. Cruz Azul is not just a soccer club. We try to fulfill the social and cultural needs of the neighborhoods that most of our participants occupy. We work with schools to give players educational stability. We reach out to the business community, so that together we can improve our city.

Cruz Azul MN is an official soccer academy of the professional club in Mexico, commonly known as "Cruz Azul". The professional club, Club Deportivo Social y Cultural Cruz Azul, is the 3rd largest professional club in Mexico. Through this affiliation both organizations aspire to teach youths in the community to know the joy of soccer and help the players learn, at an early age, the skills that will allow them to reach their full potential as soccer players.
